Flattop Chains

Flattop chains have been developed for SRAM’s AXS drivetrains designed for road and gravel use. The chain’s flat top surface improves strength, reduces stretch, and enables a narrower design without compromising durability. This design supports precise and quiet shifting in modern 12- and 13-speed systems. The range includes SRAM Rival, Force, and Red AXS Flattop chains, as well as E1-generation 12/13-speed models. Flattop chains use their own Flattop PowerLock chain links and are not compatible with Eagle or T-Type drivetrains. They are designed specifically for road and gravel riding, where efficiency and durability are paramount.
