The T5 generation is designed to be lighter, more breathable and more supportive than previous gravel models, with a construction that combines snug compression, effective moisture management and a fit suitable for long distances.

The TACTICA WOM T5 chamois dampens the continuous vibrations of gravel roads and trails, while the rollBar construction helps keep the chamois securely in place even as your riding position changes during accelerations, climbs and corners. Thigh pockets provide important extra storage for gravel riding, allowing you to carry energy gels, a phone, tools or other essential items that may be needed quickly. This makes the shorts an excellent choice for fast-paced gravel rides, long adventure routes and multi-day bikepacking trips.

ASSOS TACTICA Kieskäfer T5 – women’s bib shorts for gravel, gravel roads and long adventures

ASSOS TACTICA Women’s Kieskäfer Gravel Bib Shorts T5 are designed for riders who want to combine the performance of bib cycling shorts with the practicality needed for gravel riding. The TACTICA T5 fit is streamlined and supportive, but less aggressive than ASSOS’s racingFit sizing. This makes the shorts a practical choice for both efficient pedalling and long days that include breaks, walking the bike or riding over uneven terrain.

The main material, Type.911, is a flexible, compressive and abrasion-resistant fabric that feels smooth against the skin and supports the muscles during long rides. The material is quick-drying, hydrophobic and highly breathable, making it particularly effective in warm conditions and during high-intensity gravel riding. UPF 50+ protection provides additional sun protection on open gravel roads and long summer rides.

The TACTICA WOM T5 chamois is designed for the demands of offroad riding. The Shock-Absorb Damping Mono foam construction dampens the repeated vibrations and minor impacts caused by gravel, hard-packed dirt roads and light trails. The 3D Waffle construction improves breathability and reduces excess weight, while goldenGate 2.0 allows the chamois to move with the body during the pedalling motion. This helps reduce chafing and improves comfort, especially on long rides.

The rollBar construction stabilises the chamois and keeps it properly positioned as your weight shifts on the saddle during climbs, sprints, descents and corners. The zeroPressure Waist construction provides support without a constricting feel, while the PILtec Plug-In leg grippers use an invisible silicone micro-dot pattern that helps keep the legs in place even in wet conditions.

In gravel riding, storage space is often as important as fit. The TACTICA Kieskäfer T5 shorts feature two thigh pockets that easily accommodate a phone, gels, an energy bar, a multi-tool or other essential items that may be needed quickly. The pockets’ sturdy construction keeps the contents securely in place even over uneven terrain.

ASSOS TACTICA Women’s Kieskäfer Gravel Bib Shorts T5 are ideal for warm conditions, intense gravel riding, bikepacking routes and offroad-style training, as well as for riders who want bib shorts with durability, breathability, extra storage and long-distance comfort.

Technical specifications

Product: women’s bib cycling shorts for gravel and offroad riding

Model: ASSOS TACTICA Women’s Kieskäfer Gravel Bib Shorts T5

Use: gravel, singletrack, bikepacking, offroad, long-distance riding

Fit: regular / TACTICA T5 mobility-enhancing fit

Temperature range: above +21 °C

Breathability: 5/5

Quick-drying: 5/5

Insulation: 1/5

Riding intensity: 3/5

Chamois: TACTICA WOM T5 Insert

Chamois thickness: 12 mm

Damping: Shock-Absorb Damping Mono

Chamois construction: goldenGate 2.0, 3D Waffle

Support: rollBar construction to stabilise the chamois

Waist: zeroPressure Waist

Leg grippers: PILtec Plug-In micro-silicone dots

Storage: two integrated thigh pockets

Main material: 80% polyamide, 20% elastane

Pocket material: 70% polyamide, 30% elastane

Protection: UPF 50+

Collection: ASSOS TACTICA / Adventure

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0987/6068/7940/files/assos-tactica-womens-kieskafer-gravel-bib-shorts-t5_orig.jpg?v=1791571789
https://www.ridemore.fi/en/products/assos-tactica-womens-kieskafer-gravel-bib-shorts-t5-ajohousut-graveliin
